There are a lot of calling cards that have local access numbers. These local access calling cards usually has cheaper rates than other 1-800 based phone card products. The reason being that by using local access numbers the phone card manufacturer does not have to pay for INCOMING call charges when using 800 numbers. Thus, they can offer you a better rate. Usually local access phone card products calling rates are 1-2 cents cheaper than 800 based phone card products.

Calling the U.S. from other countries Using Rate Search, for example, select Germany as your from country and 48 states US as your TO country. The results show you which cards have access in Germany, and what the rates are. Be sure to click on the Access Numbers link on each card's detail page to view any special instructions for that card.
To purchase and use one of these cards, place your choice in your shopping cart and check out. You will receive your PIN and dialing instructions by email. In addition, it is up to you to look up the access numbers for the countries you expect to call from and jot these numbers down along with your PIN number. Take the access numbers and your PIN number with you when you travel.

Calling rates are fixed on the phone cards, so people are guaranteed the same rate every time they call. You can order your phone cards online, print out and start using them right away.

How many minutes are on my card, and how can I check the balance on my card?

-Our phone cards are dollars/cents based. The number of minutes depends on rate applied for the destination You call. You'll be informed how many minutes You have on your card, after a destination number is entered; with some cards You'll be notified about your balance after the PIN is entered.
-Finding the best rate.
First of all, select what countries You want to call FROM and TO. If You are calling to a cellular phone, choose the country You want to call TO, press "Search" button. You will see the search results for that particular country for calling to a landline phone, please click on "Details" for cellular phone rates.
The lowest rates are shown on the top of page. Each card displays the amount of minutes available for different card's nominations.
Note: Cell phone rates are usually much higher than landline phone rates for the same country.
Cell phone rates may be not listed for some destinations. If You still would like to know the rate that is not listed, please contact us and we will provide the rate information or the number where You can find out this information.
